The Vista eclipse represents a breakthrough in camera technology capturing a 3-mega pixel ultra-wide image. Based on the innovative Imtera processor, the eclipse captures a high-resolution “fish-eye” image and then forwards the image to 2 completely independent monitor outputs, each of which is able to display a variety of multi-screen images, from complete panoramic view, 2 x 180° scenes to a quad display showing 4 independent virtual cameras (VCAM’s). Intelligent video processing provides an “electronic” Pan/tilt/zoom (ePTZ) ability for all VCAM’s. Advanced motion detection algorithms allow tracking of subjects within the cameras field of view, automatically zooming into the area of motion. In addition, the eclipse’s motion detection algorithms use background analysis techniques to minimise false alarms.
When combined with the eclipse DVR, retrospective ePTZ of the full 360º scene and powerful search options become available, allowing fast review and interrogation of recorded images.

Representing a major revolution in technology for the CCTV industry, you can now experience all the live features of the eclipse 360° camera in playback including full retrospective virtual PTZ control, interrogation of recorded images and powerful search functionality. The Vista eclipse DVR records the entire 360° 3-mega pixel sensor image so, when played back via a Vista eclipse-R, the recording contains all the information from the original scene. The simplistic and intuitive operation makes it possible to ePTZ as if viewing images live, all while the Vista eclipse continues recording. By using retrospective ePTZ the whole recording can be examined in detail ensuring that critical information is not overlooked. A particular event can be reviewed on a virtual camera and then the evidence can be selected for recording on any conventional device connected to the analogue outputs.
