Derwent - Lighting Range
Derwent provides a full range of Infrared and White-Light illuminators for the CCTV Professional. There are two types of infrared illuminators in the Derwent range, LED and low-voltage halogen.

Solid-state illumination devices like LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) offer major advantages in terms of lower power consumption and maintenance costs. LED illuminators in the Derwent range are capable of operating for up to ten years.

Halogen gas is used to protect and prolong the life of tungsten filament bulbs. Lamps using these bulbs produce a massive output of infrared light, and when used with an IR-pass filter, highly efficient infrared illumination is produced.
