The ZX700 builds on military spotlight designs to provide long-range active-infrared illumination. The ZX700 performance kit at 730nm (dual ZX700s, Fujinon D60 zoom lens, IR-sensitive camera) is capable of providing 1km (3,300ft) of active-infrared night vision [700m (229ft) for a single ZX700]. The ZX700 performance kit is designed for use with precision pan-tilt motors to enable long-range intelligent scene analysis.
The ZX700 output is a focused cylindrical 2.5 degree spot beam. The ZX700 is highly power efficient, using less than 200W to achieve its performance levels when matched with recommended CCD cameras and lenses.
The advantages of active infrared can now be used for long-range applications to 1km:
· High resolution video ideal for VMD or ISAS
· Output video that is compatible with standard CCTV video systems and does not require interpretation
· Capture lettering to allow recognition and identification regardless of temperature differentials
Integration with radar allows for seek and define security at resolutions up to 500% better than that of thermal cameras.
