Achievable Distance Graphical
The achievable distances for different infrared illuminators are given below. The ranges shown indicate the maximum usable range of a single lamp with a high performance camera and a 730nm filter. The figures given are for reference only. Distances achievable in practice will depend on a combination of camera, lens and infrared illuminator.

The Uniflood 300 and Uniflood 500 illuminators are available with 830nm and 940nm filter options.

The use of an 830nm filter will decrease the range by approximately 45%.

The use of an 940nm filter will reduce the range by a maximum of a further 45%.

The use of two units will increase the maximum achievable range by approximately 40%.

For a Tabular Representation of Achievable Distance, see Achievable Distance Tabular.
