Axis 211A Network Camera

The Axis 211A Network Camera is a professional network camera that enables remote users see, hear and speak over IP networks. It is suitable for surveillance and remote monitoring applications.

The camera has a built-in microphone and the ability to connect to external speakers, enabling remote users to not only view, but also listen to or communicate orders or requests to visitors or intruders.

The Axis 211A reduces cabling requirements and installation costs by virtue of its built-in support for audio and Power over Ethernet. Power to the camera and two-way audio to be delivered through the same network cable [See Overview].

The Axis 211A fully supports the Power Over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af standard and works with compliant mid-spans and switches.

The Axis 211A network camera is an ideal choice for securing offices, shops and other facilities such as schools, university campuses and prisons. The product is supported by the industry's largest base of application software for video and alarm management.
The Axis 211A Network Camera carries an Axis 3-year Warranty.

Axis 211A Network Camera - Accessories
•  The Pentax Varifocal Lens 5-50 mm Recommended for use with the Axis 211, 211A and Axis 211W Network Cameras.
•  Power Over Ethernet mid-spans are available in 1, 6, 12 and 24-port versions (There is no need for a Power over Ethernet Active Splitter as the Axis 211A comes with built-in PoE support).
•  Milestone Xprotect is based on four main offerings scaled in functionality and price which offer multi-hardware support and robust performance. Milestone XProtect can control up to 64 cameras per server, with multiple servers and multiple sites.
•  Axis Camera Station software offers Windows PC users all the necessary video recording and monitoring functions for security surveillance. The software supports up to 25 cameras/video servers per installation and an unlimited recording database (limited only by hardware!).
•  Axis Camera Explorer software offers simple and effective functions for viewing live movies, snapshots and video feeds from Axis video resources over the network, using Microsoft Windows Explorer as the interface.
•  The Videotec Verso Housing protects the Axis 211A against adverse conditions.
•  The Videotec Verso Cool Housing protects the Axis 211A against adverse conditions and enables the camera to operate in temperatures up to +50° C (122° F) by virtue of a built-in fan.
