The Axis 209FD-R Network-IP Camera, with its compact size and built-in tampering alarm, is designed specifically for use in buses and trains. The tampering alarm detects when Axis 209FD-R is moved, obscured, covered or sprayed. The rugged casing is built to withstand the vibrations, humidity, dust and fluctuating temperatures typically found in public transportation vehicles. The design of the Axis 209FD-R permits quick and flexible installation on vehicle ceilings or side panels. Sloping surfaces are easily compensated for by horizontal camera adjustment, tilt and rotation of the lens.
The Axis 209FD-R suports (IPv6) in addition to version 4. Support for (IEEE 803.3af) reduces installation costs by powering the camera over the network cabling, eliminating the need for power outlets.
The Axis 209FD-R has a minimum sensitivity of 1.5 lux, and is fitted with a 3mm, F2, fixed iris lens.
