The Axis 207 is the worlds smallest MPEG-4 network camera. It is a compact, versatile and cost-effective solution for indoor surveillance and remote monitoring. It offers the best bandwidth efficiency and image quality in its class. The high quality, progressive scan CMOS image sensor performs excellent in low light conditions down to 1 lux.
The Axis 207 features MPEG-4 implementation with motion estimation for optimized bandwidth usage. Simultaneous MPEG-4 including audio, Motion JPEG and still image JPEG allow systems to be optimized for both image quality and bandwidth-efficiency. A built-in microphone for one-way audio enables remote users to listen in on an area and increase the monitoring options. The Axis 207 has support for unlimited simultaneous viewers over a standard Ethernet connection.
The camera comes with the free Axis Internet Dynamic DNS Service for easy installation.

Axis 207 Network Camera - Applications
is based on four main offerings scaled in functionality and price which offer multi-hardware support and robust performance. Milestone XProtect can control up to 64 cameras per server, with multiple servers and multiple sites.
software offers Windows PC users all the necessary video recording and monitoring functions for security surveillance. The software supports up to 25 cameras/video servers per installation and an unlimited recording database (limited only by hardware!).
The 4-pin I/O terminal connector provides the interface to 1 alarm input, 1 output, auxiliary power and GND. The terminal connector is used in applications such as an external PIR sensor or event triggering for alarm notification via email.
* MPEG-4 is licensed technology. If MPEG-4 multicast is used, the number of viewers is unlimited, but each viewer still needs a separate MPEG-4 decoder license. The Axis 207 includes one viewing client license. Installing additional unlicensed copies of the viewing client is prohibited.
